Based on a true story about a haunted hotel in Semarang starting with the letter “S”. Next up is Dabangg Wingit 2: Miss K (2024). Honestly, I’m not choosing to rate this movie so as not to influence the user’s “rating” since I didn’t watch it; I invested about thirty minutes (in my opinion, star ratings should generally be given when a movie is watched in its entirety). The budget seemed on point and the production looked good, but the writing! And as a result, the acting was less than good or convincing. The dialogue was unnatural and felt like we, the audience, were merely explaining. My eyes were rolling within a few minutes. Right from the start, I decided that the next 90 minutes probably wasn’t worth it. But maybe it turned into something worthwhile…
